Call for Applications – Municipality of Saraj
The Municipality of Saraj is seeking qualified candidates for two positions under the project “BLUENEW – Blue Economy Network for Sustainable Innovation.” This is a 30-month project funded by the Interreg IPA ADRION Programme of the European Union.
The project aims to promote sustainable innovation in the Blue Economy by strengthening territorial cooperation, supporting innovation ecosystems, and enhancing transnational partnerships in the Adriatic-Ionian region.

Open Positions:
- Technical Manager (1 position – 100%)
The selected staff will work under the Municipality of Saraj for the entire project duration (December 15, 2025 – February 28, 2027).
1 Technical Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the technical execution of activities related to innovation, sustainable water management, and Blue Economy policies
- Assisting in research, data collection, and technical documentation preparation
- Contributing to reports, feasibility studies, and impact assessments
- Engaging with local and regional stakeholders to ensure proper project implementation
- Providing technical expertise on transnational cooperation and innovation ecosystems
Required Qualifications:
- University degree in Business Management Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or related fields
- At least 3 years of experience
- Knowledge of water management, environmental sustainability, and innovation policies
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Fluency in Macedonian, Albanian, and English
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, GIS tools, and data analysis software

Selection Process:
The selection process will consist of two phases:
CV and cover letter assessment
Interview on December 24, 2025 (conducted in Macedonian, Albanian, and English)
A selection panel composed of project partners will evaluate the applications. The final decision will be made by December 26, 2025, and selected staff will start working on January 2, 2026.
